Academic Support

Tips

If you are falling behind, here are some tips to help you understand the material and to provide you with support!

  • Always ask for help. Our teachers are here to help you succeed in your classes.
  • If your teacher cannot help you during class, please ask your teacher when it would be a good time to meet or to schedule an appointment after school.
  • Remember, it may take more than one meeting with your teacher(s) for you to reach your goal.
  • Join a study group, or ask someone in class if they can help.
  • Math support is available during lunches in Room 333. Drop ins are welcome, no appointment required!

  • Information about Falcon Quest (after school support) for the 2024-25 school year will be forthcoming.

  • KHAN ACADEMY is a free resource that is now approved by NSD to be used as a supplemental resource for K-12 ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science.

    • KHAN Academy also has a lot of resources for Advanced Placement course prep.

    • Students can link their PSAT scores to Khan Academy, to receive customized support.
