Northshore is pleased to host several WANIC Summer Semester programs at Bothell High School and Woodinville High School.

Check out the options listed below, and apply before Thursday, April 24.

WANIC Summer Semester runs Monday, June 29 – Thursday, July 16, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (No school July 3.) All classes are in-person.

The following WANIC classes will be offered at NSD schools:

Bothell High School

  • Engineering Design - Project Lead the Way (PLTW)

Woodinville High School

  • Emergency CERT

  • Welding

Outside Learning Courses

Students wanting to take Outside Learning Courses this summer (e.g., for original credit, such as PE classes, and/or classes for GPA replacement) must have completed the STUDENT REQUEST FOR APPROVAL FOR OUTSIDE LEARNING form 
https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1747339401/nsdorg/pyo70hrycx0dvanq0mrv/ApprovalFormforOutsideLearningFillable.pdf and provided it to their counselor for approval PRIOR to enrolling in the outside learning course. Prior approval for outside learning is REQUIRED in advance. 

With counselors on summer break, forms submitted for Outside Learning Courses will be reviewed and approved after counselors return at the end of August for the 2026-27 school year. Upon approval, Outside Learning Courses for all incoming students could then the taken during the 2026-27 school year or for incoming juniors, sophomores, and freshmen in summer 2027.
