Hello Everyone,

Yearbook Senior Info: Senior Pictures, Senior Grad Ads, Yearbook Sale Dates and Info and Yearbook Photo Requests-opportunity for you to upload photos.

I know this is long, but there are a ton of information in it. You can totally skip to the information you are really interested in heart

Senior Pictures

We are wrapping this section up next week and sending to publisher. Here is the Link to our Senior Photo List. Yearbook Senior Photo List. I would strongly encourage you to double check that we have the correct photo for you. Once these pages are gone there is nothing we can do. Please take care of this quickly, do not wait.

There are three columns next to the senior’s name. One labeled “nice”, one labeled “Dorian-ASB Picture” and lastly “No PIcture”.

Each column has a “yes” written in it if that is the picture we have. For many of our seniors we have both a “nice” and the “Dorian-ASB Picture”. We of course will use the “nice” picture.

If we only have the “Dorian” one that is the picture we will use. If this is a mistake, please email me your picture ASAP. Please remember it needs to be a minimum of 3.5MB in size, no hats, no props, just you in a clear head and shoulder picture.

Senior Grad Ads:

Grad Ads are up and running. What is a Grad Ad? Well it’s space in the Senior Section of the Yearbook you purchase where you can applaud your child’s achievements with a tribute for them, celebrate with words of congratulations, praise and encouragement.  You can also add the pictures we wouldn’t take in the Senior Portrait section, with animals, props etc. Please click the link to purchase Balfour Grad Ad Link. They go off sale on Dec. 17th at Midnight, Pacific Time. Once it is past this date, there is nothing I can do. I am sorry it's done and I can't do anything to change it.

Ad Pricing: Full Page Ad $200, 1/2 Page Ad $110, 1/4 Page Ad $55, 1/8 Page Ad $30

Steps to purchase an ad:

  1. Log in using the above link. Ads are purchased online through Balfour only.

  2. Sign in using your child's name, I think you have to also create an account giving Balfour an email address. Please be sure to use an address that you regularly use/read. Once you purchase the ad, you will be sent a link to use to upload your pictures and words. This does not always come right away, it may take a day before confirmation of purchase happens. And confirmation of purchase is actually the email containing your link to create your ad. You do not need to complete the ad on the same day you purchase it, you will have until January 3, 2022 to complete the ad.

  3. We ask that you don’t create your ad using Photoshop or any other photo editing software. They don’t transfer well. Please use the tools provided. We want to be sure that you understand that we will change the fonts on the ads to match those we use in the book as well as any colored backgrounds. We want the Senior Ad section to go along with the theme of the book. We want it pretty :-). Wingspan also reserves the right to edit ads based on school policy and yearbook guidelines. We will contact you if we need to change anything drastically.

  4. You will get a preview of the ad before you submit, if you want to keep that preview you need to screenshot it. Unless it’s changed from last year once the preview is gone you won’t see it again until the book comes out. Unfortunately we can’t spare the time to send you another preview, there is just so much to do once January comes, I am so sorry. :-(

  5. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to email me.

  6. If your questions have to do with the site you have to contact Balfour directly at 1-800-944-5930. Again, please remember they are Pacific Standard Time (the plant is in Texas.)

I know this seems really early but we have to know how many pages you all want, to include that in the size of the book.

Here is a list of the pictures we are looking for right now. Deadline to upload these pictures would be Dec. 10th (The link won’t close, but we need the pictures now for publication and the sooner you turn in a picture, with a caption and names the more likely it will be picked to be used.)

2021-22 Yearbook Information

Price: $55.00

Sales Windows:
August 16-19, 2021
September 1-17, 2021
December 1-17, 2021

2021-22 yearbooks are sold on a pre-sale basis ONLY for $55  August 16-19, September 1-17, and, finally, December 1-17 through TouchBase. Pursuant to resale tax rules, yearbooks will not be sold at any other time during the school year.

Please plan accordingly as many students who believe they do not want a yearbook during the sale windows at the start of the year feel differently as the school year comes to a close and they are unable to purchase one!

Please be reminded that if during the course of the year more than one yearbook is purchased – there will be no refunds.  If you purchase two yearbooks, you will be given two books, not one book and a refund for the other.
