National Honor Society 2026-27

The purposes of the National Honor Society as found in the National Honor Society Constitution are:

To create enthusiasm for scholarship
To stimulate a desire to render service
To promote leadership
To develop character

Important Dates 2026-27 

09/16/2026- Required Info Meeting After School for Both New and Returning 10th - 12th grade Members (link to slides will be posted after meeting). Freshmen meeting details will be forthcoming.

9/17/2026- Freshman NHS Interest Meeting in the library at the beginning of both lunches: This meeting is not required but interested freshmen are encouraged to attend.

10/02/2026- Required forms due: Intent to Participate (returning members) and Application (new members)

10/09/2026- Accepted Members Added to Schoology

11/11/2026- Required All Chapter Meeting After School

11/13/2026- First 5 hours and Chapter Dues due by 11:55pm

01/13/2027- Required Chapter Meeting After school

3/17/2027- Required Chapter Meeting After school

3/26/2027- Final hours (30 hours total; 10 must be in-school hours) due by 11:55 pm

5/20/2027- Induction Ceremony in the WHS gym *REQUIRED* Students must be present to receive cords (for seniors) and certificates
