Parentsquare message sent on 11/03 by Sharon Alder:

Dear Seniors and Parents or Guardians, CLASS OF 2026 ðŸ™‚

Senior Graduations Ads for Woodinville High School are on sale now

Due: December 12, 2025

*I know this is a long email, but please read through the whole thing, it’s truly meant to help you not hinder you.

  1. What they are: The Yearbook Staff (Wingspan) sells ad space in the yearbook for seniors. This is a way to share your congratulations to your graduate. You can add pictures (baby and a different version of their Senior “nice” picture) and congratulatory messages .

  2. Please don’t wait until the last day, that is typically when problems arise 🙂.

  3. How do you buy and create them?: They are paid for and created on the Walsworth Yearbook Website: Click here for a direct link to the main page

  4. Sizes: Full page $240, ½ page $120, ¼ page $60 and â…› $35

    1. *There is a surcharge charged by the company

    2. You can only select *Design My Own Ad Online

  5. Gather all the pictures, words and ideas together first and then build your ad. The site is real user friendly, its four simple steps shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes if you have all of your materials gathered first.

    1. The program will time you out, so if you leave it open with no activity it kicks you off. But just click on the “resume” tab up at the right hand corner, type in the email you used in the opening and it will save all of your work. It sends you a link to your email.

  6. HANDY DANDY TIP: Go into the website and browse it first, go look at the different sizes, templates and picture quantities for the different templates. You can look at your fill and not purchase until you are 100% sure and ready.

FAQs

  1. Can I purchase the ad and then come back and work on it? Technically you can, but I strongly suggest you don’t. Gather up your pictures, your words when you are ready to build it then go in and build it. This will ensure you get a completed proof for your records and remembrance. It also comes in as a PNG photo. You can share it with relatives and friends. Everything will work better and cause you less stress come 12/12/24.

  2. Can I build something on Photoshop/Canva/Cool Photo Program and just upload it? I am sorry, no. Please use the templates available in the program, there are a lot of different choices to choose from.

  3. Will you change or modify the ad once it’s uploaded? No, as long as there isn’t anything in it that would go against WHS or Wingspan Policy (naked baby pics, red solo cups, inappropriate words on a shirt [it’s still a school, we have to keep everything G rated 😀], etc.).

We will make spelling and Graduation Year being wrong (tee hee hee, you would be surprised how many we correct 🙂). But we will contact you as well.
  4. Why do you do these so early in the year, it’s only December for goodness sakes Alder? The Grad Ads determine the final size of our book. And the final size depends on how many ads are sold, and we can’t tell until the parents buy them. 💙  Please trust me when I say, I am giving you all the most time we can afford.

  5. Will I receive a copy of my ad after I have created it? Yes, Walsworth will send you a PNG proof of your ad. They ask you to open it up and do a final proof on it and then it’s yours to keep to send to relatives or friends. I am not 100% sure but I bet you could get a photo company to print it for you.

  6. Can I use my phone to build the ad? Yes 🙂 but I have heard the computer is easier.

  7. Can you help me with the ad? Yes, as long as it’s well before 12/12/25. Email me and we will figure out how to help.

This is all I can think of right now, as always feel free to email me any questions you have about the Yearbook and I will endeavor to take care of you.

Thank you for your patience on these instructions.

  4. Grad Ads go on sale Nov 3- Dec. 12-You haven’t missed any info 🙂

Senior “Nice” Photo: It is tradition here at Woodinville High School to swap out the Dorian/ASB picture for the senior class only for a “nice” picture. This picture does NOT have to be taken by a professional photographer. Any phone or camera can be used to take a “nice” picture. It just needs to be a head and shoulders shot, no hats, sunglasses, pets or anything in the hands and it needs to be just the senior. 🙂

If you don’t send in a picture we will use the one from Dorian, they send them to us there is nothing for you to do. We don’t have the Dorian photos as of yet, they are coming.

Link to APP: Click here for a direct link to the Yearbook Photo App

Access Code: Falcons26 (This is case sensitive and no space between the s and the 26)

Please make sure of the following all the instructions before uploading your one Senior Portrait.

  1. The photo must be 2MB or larger (A photo in KB is too small, anything smaller than 2MB won’t look right in the book) the program also won’t take anything over 10 or 15 MB either 🙂).

  2. It’s a picture of only you, no hats, sunglasses, props, animals, cars, it will be rejected. Save those for Grad Ads or your announcements.

  3. It needs to be a head and shoulders shot, we will crop any full body picture down to your head and shoulders.

  4. It’s an actual photo, nothing photoshopped, AI or anything like that. This is a senior portrait picture. We have all sorts of places pictures like that can go in the book, save them for the next Photo Request when we start asking for specific Yearbook subject pictures. 🙂

  5. Please upload only the one picture you want used in the 2026 book.

  6. Please be sure to put the WHS Senior’s name in the program that you upload it to, the email you use can be the student, a parent or photographer. By sharing your email you will receive confirmation that the picture was uploaded to the program.
