Beginning Spring of 2018 the Northshore School District high schools began offering Unified Soccer. Practices will be 1-2 days per week after 6th period before the other spring sports begin practice. Games will be held at Pop Keeney Stadium on three (3) Saturdays in the month of May.
At this time we will compete against the other Northshore schools only. This will allow us to learn what we need to do as we develop this new program in the district and develop interest in the community.
We are looking for Special Olympic "athletes" (students with intellectual disabilities) and "partners" (students without intellectual disabilities) that would like to participate in Unified Soccer.
If you are interested, please go to the Register for Athletics website from the drop down menu under Athletics which has a link to register on FamilyID for Unified Soccer.
If you are registering as an "athlete" then you will need to complete the Athlete Release Form and the Athlete Medical Form. Completed forms can be uploaded during the registration process in the Participant Information section or returned to the Athletic Office.
If you are registering as a "partner", please complete the Unified Partner Release Form. You will also need to have a sports physical on file with the Athletic Office. Physicals are good for two (2) years and must be valid the entire season.
The Northshore School District academic policy does not apply to Unified Soccer.
The ASB and participation fees are not required for Unified Soccer.
