Unified soccer practice begins on Tuesday, April 16, the week after spring break. Games will be held at Pop Keeney Stadium on three (3) Saturdays in the month of May against the other Northshore District high schools. At this time, we will not be competing with other schools.
PRACTICE: Tuesdays/Thursdays 2:30pm-3:30pm on the WHS turf soccer field.
We are looking for Special Olympic "athletes" (students with intellectual disabilities) and "partners" (students without intellectual disabilities) that would like to participate in Unified Soccer.
If you are interested, please go to the Register for Athletics website from the drop down menu under Athletics which has a link to register on FamilyID for Unified Soccer.
If you are registering as an "athlete" then you will need to complete the Athlete Release Form and the Athlete Medical Form. Completed forms can be uploaded during the registration process in the Participant Information section or returned to the Athletic Office.
If you are registering as a "partner", please complete the Unified Partner Release Form. You will also need to have a sports physical on file with the Athletic Office. Physicals are good for two (2) years and must be valid the entire season.
The Northshore School District academic policy does not apply to Unified Soccer.
The ASB and participation fees are not required for Unified Soccer.
