2019-20 Registration Timeline

Please note due to the snow closures, dates have changed. Thank you for your understanding with the rescheduled timeline!

The optional Class of 2023 Parent/Student Registration Information Night for incoming freshmen families will be now be held at the WHS Theater on Thursday, February 28 (changed from February 26), 6:30-8:15 p.m. for parents to view the course registration information presented to students at their respective schools. Support staff will also be available to answer questions.

Current Falcons - 11th, 10th, and 9th-Grade Students

 

Current 11th Graders (Class of 2020):
  • Online course registration materials and instructions will be distributed to students during Advisory on Tuesday, February 26.

  • Online course registration must be completed in StudentVUE prior to Advisory on Monday, March 4.

  • Students must also return the Online Registration Worksheet (provided at the February 26 distribution) signed by their parent indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their Falcon Time Advisor Monday, March 4.

  • The 2019-20 Course Description Catalog will be posted online.

  • The instructional video presented to students in Advisory will be available on the WHS website for your convenience.  

  • Counselors will then meet one-to-one with each of their students to review 4-year personal education plans, post-secondary plans, and 2019-20 course requests between March 6 and March 27.

  • Please note the master schedule of courses developed for the 2019-20 school year, along with corresponding staffing decisions, will be based on the course requests students make at this time; therefore, students are encouraged to process their choices and weigh all the options carefully before making final selections.

  • If a student is absent Tuesday, February 26th, they will be provided with an opportunity to pick up their registration packet Wednesday, February 27th at 12:55 p.m. in the Library or on Thursday, February 28 during Options in the Theater.

  • Registration materials and information will be provided directly to LMS and TMS 8th-grade students in the WHS pathway at their respective schools on Wednesday, February 27. 

  • Online course registration must be completed in StudentVUE Wednesday, March 13.

  • Students must also return the Online Registration Worksheet signed by their parent indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their respective middle schools on Wednesday, March 13. The Online Registration Worksheets will be in the student's packet provided February 27.

  • The 2019-20 Course Description Catalog will be posted online February 27.

  • Please note the master schedule of courses developed for the 2019-20 school year, along with corresponding staffing decisions, will be based on the course requests students make at this time; therefore, students are encouraged to process their choices and weigh all the options carefully before making final selections.

  • For parent’s additional convenience, drop-in sessions for registration questions will be held in the WHS College & Career Center from 7-11 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. on:

    • Friday, March 1 (Green Conference Room, 7-11am & CCC, 3-5pm)

    • Thursday, March 7

    • Monday, March 11

  • Registration materials and information will be provided by WHS counselors directly to NSMS and KMS 8th-grade students in the WHS pathway at their respective middle schools February 27.

  • Online course registration must be completed in StudentVUE Wednesday, March 13.

  • Students must also return the Online Registration Worksheet signed by their parent indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their respective middle schools on Wednesday, March 13. The Online Registration Worksheets will be in the student's packet provided to students February 27.

  • The 2019-20 Course Description Catalog will be posted online.

Private School/Outside Enrollment (Currently in grades 8, 9, 10, or 11)

  • Registrations packets for 2019-20 private school/outside enrollment students in the WHS boundary will be available in the WHS Counseling Office after March 25.
