22                    Jostens Commencement Announcement Distribution*

  • Main Office Foyer during Lunches from 11:45a to 1:05p and after school 3:20-3:50p
  • If a senior is unable to attend, a friend or relative can pick up the items; however, a signed note from the parent/guardian must be provided to Jostens. The individual picking up the items will be required to sign for them, relieving Jostens of responsibility if they should become lost or misplaced.

  • Seniors who were previously failing and are now passing a required course, are in compliance with the attendance policy, and have met all other graduation requirements will be reinstated to the graduation roster and may take part in the Commencement Ceremony.

June

01                    Senior Awards Ceremony, Main Gym, 6:30p (Seniors report to Auxiliary/Back Gym by 6p)

  • Senior Awards Night is as a way to honor, recognize, and provide a social environment for the entire graduating class and their loved ones. 
  • The excitement of seeing future graduates acknowledged by faculty, picking up their cap and gown, smiling as they sign yearbooks, and making memories with one another is a highlight.
  • As some seniors and parents/guardians wonder, seniors typically dress well for this event (dress shirts, blouses, slacks, dresses, etc.)

01                    Commencement Ticket & Senior Yearbook Distribution*, after the Senior Awards Ceremony
                         ends (appx. 8p)

  • Each senior receives 5 free tickets

  • Additional tickets can be purchased for $7.00 ea. (no limit) from after the Senior Awards Ceremony concludes through Monday, June 12 at the Main/Cashier’s Office.

  • Tickets are not available for purchase on June 13 at Pop Keeney Stadium.

  • Tickets are required for anyone over the age of 2.

01                    Senior Class Cap, Gown, & Stole Distribution*, after the Senior Awards Ceremony ends (appx.
                         8:00p)

  • If a senior is unable to attend, a friend or relative can pick up the items; however, a signed note from the parent must be provided to Jostens. The individual picking up the items will be required to sign for them, relieving Jostens of responsibility if they should become lost or misplaced.

07                    NSD/WHS Items Returned: If not handled previously, textbooks, library books, devices,           
                         chargers, hotspots, uniforms, locks, cameras, photography and art supplies,
                         equipment and any other property that belongs to the Northshore School District/Woodinville
                         High School must be returned to the staff person who checked it out.

08                    Notice from counselors: The counselors will compile a final list of students still failing and “not
                         walking” in the Commencement Ceremony. The counselors will notify the parents by phone

                          allowed to participate in the ceremony.

  • Seniors should be prepared to be dropped off at WHS at 2:45 p.m. (no vehicle parking on the WHS campus)
  • All seniors will ride district transportation from WHS to Pop Keeney
  • Details to follow in the mid-May WHS Grad Guide
  • Seniors must have a return ride home from Pop Keeney (buses will not return to WHS)

20                    Last 2022-23 Underclassmen School Day

20                     "Takeout" your Google Drive, and save all of your hard work!

  • Google Drive and NSD email accounts will remain active for one year after graduation.
  • After that period, they will be deleted.
  • Use the summer to transfer your important files to your personal account. 
  • Google makes it easy at takeout.google.com

28                    Diploma Packet Pick Up, WHS Main Office Loop, Wednesday, June 28, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Pending official verification graduation requirements have been met, diploma packets will be available for pick up drive-thru style at the Main Office Loop on Wednesday, June 28, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. (For efficiency, It is helpful to have a sign with your last name in the car window.)
  • Student immunization records for our graduating seniors will be included in the diploma packets.  
  • If your immunization record is not in your diploma packet,  you may register your child at https://wa.myir.net/rorl to receive a .pdf of your child's Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) form. You may find this information on the nurse's letter in your packet. 
  • Please make arrangements to pick up the packet as soon as possible, as diplomas are often a piece of documentation needed in the graduate’s near future.
  • As diplomas are not reproducible and the packets contain sensitive information, the packet must be picked up and signed for by the graduate or the graduate’s parent/guardian (friends of the graduate are not authorized).
  • Thank you for ensuring fines and fees have been taken care of and any outstanding textbooks or materials have been returned.
    • Fines and fees can be paid online through the parent TouchBase accounts or checks can be made payable to WHS and mailed to: WHS at 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Bookkeeper.
    • If you should need your TouchBase username or password, please email whsattendance@nsd.org.
  • Summer hours for pick up after June 28 are Wednesday, July 12 & 19 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the WHS Main Office. 

28                    Cap & Gown Donations

  • WHS gladly accepts donations of caps and/or gowns for future graduates in need.
  • Graduates who are not planning on keeping their cap and/or gown are welcome to bring the cap and/or gown and drop if off at the Diploma Packet Pick Up event on Wednesday, June 28.
  • There is a particular need for gowns 5’9 and under.

*   Student fines/fees must be paid, cleared, or arrangements made before students can purchase: Event tickets (Tolo, Prom, Senior Breakfast, Commencement, etc.) and/or a parking permit; and/or pick up graduation supplies (announcements, caps/gowns/stoles, etc.), and/or yearbooks; and/or participate in sports, and/or the Commencement Ceremony.  Students with financial need are encouraged to contact their counselor throughout the school year. Families qualifying for free and reduced meals can learn how to submit for waived extra-curricular fees via this link https://woodinville.nsd.org/resources/payments#fs-panel-148324 pursuant to pursuant to House Bill 1660:

NOTE: Seniors needing a final transcript mailed to a post-secondary institution must make their final transcript request via completion of the Senior Survey & Scholarship Notification process outlined under April 1 and May 3.
