Registration 2022-23

Current 11th Graders (Class of 2023):

• Course registration information will be provided to students during Advisory on Wednesday, February 16.
• Course Registration must completed in StudentVue by Wednesday, March 2.
• Students must also submit the paper Registration Worksheet signed by their parent/guardian indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their Advisory Teacher on March 2 during Talon Time.
• The 2022-23 Course Catalog will be posted online the morning of February 11.
• The instructional video presented to students in Advisory on Wednesday, February 16 will be available on the WHS website for your convenience.
• If for some reason a student cannot make Advisory on Wednesday, February 16, the registration packet will be available from their Talon Time Advisor on Thursday, February 17.
• Counselors will be reviewing each student's registration March 14-31 with one-to-one meetings and will communicate directly with students if any further information is needed.
  • If current WHS 11th-grade students have questions before then, counselors will be available outside the Library during both lunches on Thursday, February 17 and Friday, February 18, as well as in the College & Career Center during Advisory on Thursday, March 3.

• Course registration materials and information will be provided to LMS 8th-grade students in the WHS pathway during their Science Class on Monday, February 14.
• Course registration must be completed in StudentVUE by Monday, March 7.
• Students must also submit the paper Registration Worksheet signed by their parent/guardian indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their Science Class on March 7. 
• The 2022-23 Course Catalog will be posted online February 11.

An optional Class of 2026 Parent/Student Registration Information Night will be held at the WHS Theater on Tuesday, March 1, 6:30-8:30 p.m. for WHS pathway Leota Middle School parents and guardians to view the course registration information presented to students at their school February 14. Due to COVID guidelines, two members per family may attend.  Masks are required. As mentioned, this presentation is optional, as the instructional video will be available on the WHS website homepage for your convenience.

Optional Pre-Sessions will also be held March 1, 6:00 p.m. as follows:

Private School/Home School/Outside Enrollment who NEVER previously attended NSD or WHS*
(Currently in grades 8, 9, 10, or 11)

Registrations for 2022-23 private school/outside enrollment students in the WHS boundary will be reviewed after March 28.

To complete enrollment for your student:

1) Confirm eligibility
2) Submit the WHS Preliminary Enrollment Questionnaire
3) Follow the required online enrollment process

*Note: If your student is a former student who had previously been enrolled in Northshore School District**, enrollment forms will be sent to you by email. Complete the WHS Preliminary Enrollment Questionnaire above in #2. Do not complete the online enrollment process above in #3, as you and your student have a previous record in the system.

Former NSD students returning to NSD/WHS

Registrations for 2022-23 private school/outside enrollment students in the WHS boundary will be reviewed after March 28.

Students who previously attended a school in Northshore School District* and are returning to WHS:

1. Confirm eligibility
2. Complete the WHS Preliminary Enrollment Questionnaire
3. Enrollment forms will be sent to you by email. To fully complete online enrollment be prepared to provide the following by email in order to register:

• Proof of age for the student - provide a copy of birth certificate or passport
• Proof of residency living in our service area - provide a copy of a current utility bill or current signed rental agreement
• Immunization record - provide a copy from your health care provider. Parent signatures are required in both places at the top of the form. See the district page on required vaccines.
• Academic history - provide either an unofficial transcript, report cards, and current class schedule. A withdraw slip showing exit grades will need to be provided if transferring during the school year. You will need to provide an official sealed transcript in order to transfer high school credit previously earned.

4. Once all enrollment documents have been received and verified, the Course Selection Worksheet will be provided after March 28, 2022 by email.
