Transcripts & Records

Transcripts are a cumulative record of your high school courses and grades. Your overall GPA is provided on the transcript, which is often required on college applications. 

  • All fines and fees must be paid or cleared for an official, signed and sealed transcript to be released.

Assessments/Tests Records, such as ACT and/or SAT, must be requested from ACT.org and/or Collegeboard.org.

Please note: Once a student is 18 years of age or in a post-secondary setting it is a requirement of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 FERPA law to have the student's hand-written signature to release the transcript. Transcripts cannot be requested over the phone or by a third party (i.e., a parent or guardian).

CURRENT STUDENT TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS (2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR):

  • WHS seniors applying to colleges make official transcript requests through the student's Naviance account. 

Naviance transcript request instructions:  

1.) Go to the front/home page, click on Colleges ‘I’m applying to’ under ‘My Favorites'
2.) Click on red ‘+’ sign
3.) Search for college you are applying to that requires a transcript
4.) Select Application type
a) Regular Decision
b) Early Decision
c) Early Action, etc.
5.) Click on ‘Add and Request Transcript’
6.) Click on type of transcript you are requesting and select ‘Initial’
7.) No additional materials can be requested - test scores must come from test agency.
8.) Click ‘Request and Finish’
9.) Repeat process for additional schools.

Please note that Naviance Transcript requests DO NOT APPLY TO COMMON APPLICATION TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC REQUESTS SUCH AS COALITION OR SendEDU THAT REQUIRE YOU TO INVITE YOUR COUNSELOR TO COMPLETE A PORTION OF YOUR APPLICATION. For COMMON APPLICATION, Coalition, or SendEDU schools, be sure to invite your counselor to ensure your transcript will get sent. Naviance transcript requests simply replace the Consent to Release Student Records form students previously had to complete to send an official transcript.  

  • WHS seniors needing an unofficial transcript must mail or email a Consent to Release Student Records form to Woodinville High School, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Transcript Request. (Hand delivery is not possible during the COVID-19 building closures.)
  • WHS freshmen, sophomores, and juniors needing an official or unofficial transcript must mail or email a Consent to Release Student Records form to Woodinville High School, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Transcript Request. (Hand delivery is not possible during the COVID-19 building closures.) 

ALUMNI AND FORMER STUDENT TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS:

  • Alumni mail or email a completed Consent to Release Student Records form to Woodinville High School, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Transcript Request. (Hand delivery is not possible during the COVID-19 building closures.)

CLASS OF 2020 SENIORS - FINAL TRANSCRIPTS:

  • For the students who indicated the college they committed to in Naviance during the Senior Survey process in April/May, final transcripts were sent July 1 (provided the student had no outstanding fines or fees).

  • The online Senior Survey and Naviance account was considered the student's consent to release the final transcript.
  • Class of 2020 seniors who did not indicate a college on their Senior Survey must mail or email a Consent to Release Student Records form to Woodinville High School, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Transcript Request.
  • Due to the COVID-19 closures, we are unable to provide transcripts for pick up. Again, all fines and fees must be paid or cleared for transcripts to be released. 
  • Students can email their counselor with a concern, but please note a response may not be received until August 18.

Grading Policy

 

Grading Questions

Questions regarding final 2nd semester grades should be emailed directly to the teacher.  Please note our counselors do not have control over semester grades. Please note teachers are on summer break and you may not receive a response until teachers return to work.  

Regarding Incomplete grades, teachers, counselors, and administration will follow up in September to help the student recover the grade.  
 

Viewing Final 2nd Semester Grades

In Student Vue, change the viewing to 2nd semester since 1st semester grades are currently automatically populating. The 2nd semester grade seen is the correct grade.  Please email the teacher directly with any grading questions.
