Falcon Parents, Guardians, and Students,
For drop off/pick up, please use the designated Main Office Loop. Please be respectful of the neighborhoods surrounding the WHS campus as they are not designated drop off/pick up zones. Local neighborhoods have asked that we reach out to our school community with a request that we work together to use designated drop off/pick up zones. This may help mitigate the traffic flow that has increased in the surrounding neighborhoods during the drop-off/pick up windows.
A reminder, for everyone's safety, that dropping off or picking up students in the WHS Bus Zone is not allowed. It's imperative that this area remains clear for school bus drop off and pick up only. Bus drivers cannot see students that run across the bus zone in front of them to get into or exit a car.
Additionally, students must not cross 195th Street NE at the Bus Zone entrance. There is not a crosswalk at this location. Students should not be dropped off or picked up alongside 195th Street NE.
Furthermore, for students that have permission to park in the 600 Building Lot, extreme caution must be used when leaving campus to not dart out of the lot in front of incoming school buses.
