Welcome Falcons!
Dear Families:
As the principal of Woodinville High School, I am honored to serve alongside teachers, staff, coaches, parents and the Woodinville community who desire the best for our youth in an environment that combines excellence in academic and extracurricular programs. Our students are thriving because they are buoyed by a larger community that is working diligently for their success. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be working with you to help shape our future generations where your support is a priceless gift to all of our students. I am proud of our Falcons, and know they will soar to new heights this school year.
At Woodinville, we work together to preserve the integrity of the Northshore School District diploma by providing a rigorous curriculum and requirements that challenge our students in an atmosphere where they learn to solve their problems, rise to new heights, and to participate in all of our "5 A's": Academics, Advanced Placement, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts. Involving parents in the daily learning process is one of the most effective ways to improve our students' performance, so we invite parents, guardians and the community to continue to partner with us in our students' journey to graduation. Our staff is caring, passionate, and ready to do whatever it takes to help, so please don't hesitate to call any time you have a question, concern or idea; we welcome your partnership in the learning process.
Our foundational theme, "One Falcon, One Family", combined with our motto, "Care, Respect, Leadership", offers our students, staff and families the opportunity to show the caring and respectful traits Falcons are known for, to continue to step up and lead by example, and to strengthen existing relationships and cultivate new ones that will further help connect our students with our positive school community.
Our students' many successes and accolades are representative of what can be accomplished in a community focused on "what's best for kids" and that has given much to create an environment where students are provided with every opportunity to be successful. Together, Woodinville has become a premiere high school in Washington State.
I value communication and welcome your input and suggestions as we continue to strengthen our programs and accomplish things better than we have ever done before.
GO Falcons!
Sincerely,
Kurt Criscione, Principal
