Falcon Days 2026-27

Online Payments for 2026-27 start August 19

Online payments for the 2026-27 school year start on August 19 through TouchBase. Paying in advance of Falcon Days, and bringing the receipt to Falcon Days is highly recommended. In-person payments are accepted during Falcon Days and start again when we return for the new school year. 

To pay online, parents/guardians must login to TouchBase with the username and password given by the school. Please do not create a guest account as it will not connect to your students. If the family’s TouchBase credentials are needed, please email our online resource coordinator at whsasb@nsd.org before August 1st or whsattendance@nsd.org starting August 1st. Please note that all credit/debit transactions, in-person or online, have a $2.95 transaction fee.

If applying for Free and Reduced Lunch, please complete both the application and the fee waiver before purchasing items for the 2026-27 school year. Refunds cannot be given for items purchased before the waiver is on file. Please allow 1-2 business days for the waiver to be connected to your student’s account. Please see the “Fee Waiver and Financial Support” section on this webpage for more info. 

Items Available for Purchase

Beginning Wednesday, August 19, the items listed below will be available for purchase online (please bring printed copy of receipt to Falcon Days for faster service). Many items have additional information posted on this webpage in subsequent sections. In-person payments are accepted during Falcon Days and start again when we return for the new school year. 

PAYMENTS ON TOUCHBASE

• ASB Memberships ($70) - Required for sport or club participation. More information in the ASB Membership section. If purchased before the student id picture is taken the card will be embedded with the ASB sticker. If purchased after the student id is printed, the student must take the id to the cashier to validate. Free WHS spirit shirt included with membership.
• Yearbooks ($60) - Don’t miss out! Yearbooks can only be sold online or in-person during the following windows: August 19 thru 27, September 1 thru September 19 and December 4 thru 19
• Homecoming Dance Tickets ($25 with ASB, $30 w/o ASB, $40 at the door) - September 26, 8-11pm at WHS Commons
• PE T-Shirts ($10) - Students are required to wear a grey top and black bottoms for PE classes. Students may supply their own plain grey t-shirt or purchase one for $10. Purchased shirts will be distributed during the first week of class. Black bottoms must be supplied by families. 
• Class of 2027 Grad Yard Signs pre-orders ($30) - Pick-up in Spring of 2027, date TBD
• PSAT Exam Fee for all 11th grade students ($20) - Fee is automatically added to all 11th grade student accounts. Test administered at WHS on October 13th during the school day.
  • 10th graders may optionally register to take the test at WHS, but will not pay through the school. Please see the PSAT/NMSQT & SAT Testing section for more information. Limited spots available for sophomores.
• SAT Exam - ($65) - 12th graders (only) may optionally register for the Fall SAT being administered at WHS on October 13. Registration and payment must be made through RegiSmart. Please see the PSAT/NMSQT & SAT Testing section for more information. Limited spots available.
• Athletic Participation Fee ($300 for WIAA/KingCo Sports; Non-WIAA sport participation fees vary) - Only non-cut sports available on August 19. See info below. ASB Membership is also required. Must be paid before the 1st competition.
  • Cut Sports: Athletic participation fees for Fall cut sports will be added to student’s accounts after the final roster is confirmed by the coach. 
  • Non-Cut Sports: (Football and Cross Country) - Athletic participation fees are available for payment starting August 19. 
    • If your student is registered for a fall sport in Final Forms, but will no longer participate, please unregister them in Final Forms to avoid having the participation fee added to their account. This is an important step for non-cut sports.

• Pre-approved Parking Permits ($50/year or $20/season) - Fee added to student Touchbase account if clear of fines/fees. If the student has a fine or fee on their account on August 14, then the student must email whsasb@nsd.org or visit the cashier’s office to have the parking fee added to account after the fine has been paid or cleared. 
• Device Protection Plan ($25 per year). The DPP must be purchased before damage occurs. Please see the district’s Student Device Use, Damage & Fines webpage for more information.
• Dorian Photo Packages - Please see the Student Pictures section for pre-order information. Prints are not ordered through WHS.

Class Fees

Class fees will not be available to pay in August. Class fees will populate into student’s TouchBase accounts on Wednesday, September 16 and will be due on Friday, September 25.

If paying by check at Falcon Days, separate checks are needed for each numbered item below (as the following payees are different entities):

1. Dorian for photo packages (that have not been prepaid through Dorian’s website in advance – see Student Pictures section for details)
2. WHS PTSA for membership fees
3. Vendors who sell spirit wear
4. Woodinville High School for fees and/or fines - All WHS fees/fines can be combined and paid with one check payable to WHS at Falcon Days

Important Fee Reminders:

• Fines and fees must be paid or cleared to purchase parking hangers, participate in activities or athletic competitions.
• Students are welcome to return books and/or equipment at Falcon Days at our “Item Return Station”
• Sports/Clubs & ASB: All students turning out for sports and/or clubs are required to purchase ASB membership. No discounts for winter or spring sports! Purchase early to receive benefits of ASB all year!
• Parents/Guardians can view outstanding fines/fees, view payment history, and print receipts on TouchBase.
• If payment is made online, please send a printed copy of the receipt to Falcon Days with your student.

Families are encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application online for the 2026-27 school year as soon as it opens on August 1st.

Fee Waivers

If your family qualifies for Free or Reduced Meals you may also qualify for school fee waivers by completing the fee waiver on the district’s Food and Nutrition webpage. Completing the fee waiver form will allow your child's free and reduced status to be shared with those administering extra-curricular activities at your child's school or within the district. Please do not submit a second F/R lunch application when only a fee waiver is missing. Please reach out to Dee Moran at dmoran@nsd.org if you have questions regarding your F/R application or waiver status.

Once a student is fully qualified for the fee waiver, the student or family must initiate the purchase of school qualified programs/items for $0 at the cashier or online through TouchBase. Completing the fee waiver doesn’t automatically process payments for the student. This includes ASB memberships, Device Protection Plans, sport and activities participation fees, etc. Yearbooks and apparel are not covered under the fee waiver. Refunds will not be given for items already purchased before the fee waiver was on file.

Apply for Free & Reduced Lunch or Submit a Fee WaiverAdditional financial resources may be available by reaching out to your student’s counselor. Counselors have access to community resources to support families who could use a grocery card, help with academic school fees/supplies or other basic needs. Please contact your school counselor for support after August 24.  There is no qualifying factor and it is confidential. 

Student Pictures - ID Cards (free & required)

Every student is required to have a photo taken for their WHS ID card.  The WHS photo ID card is free of charge. Students must always carry photo ID at school and at activities. Students are expected to give their name/show photo ID to any staff member who asks for it during the school day or at a school-sponsored event.

To have ASB automatically embedded on the WHS ID card, please purchase the ASB membership prior to having their picture taken.

ASB Status must be verified before having the free photo taken. Sending a printed receipt showing the purchased ASB Membership to Falcon Days is highly encouraged as it will allow the student to visit the pre-paid station instead of standing in line for the cashier. 

School Picture Days:

• Original Picture Days are August 24th and 27th during Falcon Days (assigned slots, see Arrival Schedule section)
• Make-ups are Tuesday, September 8, during both lunches
• Retakes are Thursday, October 15, during both lunches

Dorian Picture Packet Ordering Info

Starting Monday, August 3, pre-orders for picture packages can be placed online by going to mydorian.com then searching for Woodinville High School.

• Pre-order to avoid any additional fees. Online pre-ordering is available for up to two days after picture day.
• After the 2-day grace period, you will need a personalized access key to order and pictures will be mailed directly to your home address (shipping fee applies). Access keys will be emailed by Dorian 14 to 21 days after the picture day.

Dorian picture order forms will be available for your student to complete at Falcon Days and a separate check is needed for each student payable to “Dorian”, the photography company.

Students must visit the Cashier Station or Prepaid Station (with proof of paid ASB Membership receipt) before having their picture taken at Falcon Days. ASB Membership status must be verified before the picture can be taken. No exceptions.

If a student is unable to attend Falcon Days, picture make ups will take place Tuesday, September 8 during lunches. Retakes for all students are Thursday, October 15 during lunches.

STUDENT CLASS SCHEDULES

Students will be able to view their preliminary schedule in StudentVue during Falcon Days. As staffing adjustments often occur before the school year begins, some schedules may change prior to the first day of school. 

Official 2026-27 class schedules will be available in StudentVue on the first day of school, Wednesday, September 2. Students should check their StudentVue schedule before attending their first period class. A Help Desk Station will be available between the Library and Main Office for students who need assistance accessing their schedule or do not have access to a device (Chromebook or other).

ASB MEMBERSHIP

The student’s required free ID card is validated with the ASB logo if the $70 ASB membership is purchased. Student ids are printed when the Dorian photo is taken. If the ASB membership is purchased before the free id card is printed, the ASB validation sticker will automatically be included on the id. If ASB is purchased after the student id card is printed, the student must take the card to the cashier’s office for validation.

We highly recommend and encourage purchasing the ASB membership before Falcon Days for the following reasons, as ASB membership has various benefits: 

• Free admission for home sporting events and reduced entry fees for away games. Entry to home sporting events is $9, so the savings add up quickly!
• Reduced prices for dance admission and other activities.
• Provides your student the opportunity to freely explore the numerous ASB clubs and activities Woodinville HS has to offer, as well as the possibility to start a new club.
• A Woodinville HS Spirit Shirt is included with purchase. 

ASB membership is required for students who participate in clubs, activities, and athletics. There is no reduced rate for winter or spring sports/activities so purchasing now gives you the benefits of ASB all year!

YEARBOOK SALES - Don't miss out!

Yearbooks are sold on a pre-sale basis for $60 each during the following sales window:

• August 19 thru 27
• September 1 thru September 19
• December 4 thru 19

Pursuant to resale tax rules, yearbooks will not be sold at any other time during the school year. 

Please plan accordingly as many students who believe they do not want a yearbook during the sale windows at the start of the year feel differently as the school year comes to a close and they are unable to purchase one!

As yearbooks are pre-sold, please note that if duplicate yearbooks are purchased, there will be no refunds.  

Yearbooks are not covered by the fee waiver.

Class of 2027 Senior Yearbook Photos: Due Thursday, October 29

Class of 2027 seniors, parents, and guardians will receive information via email from Yearbook Advisor Sharon Alder by September 30 with specific photo size requirements and upload information for senior yearbook photos.

Senior photos for publication in the yearbook be can from the following sources:

• Professional photographer (professional photographers may upload the image for the senior or can provide the senior with a .jpeg image digitally for the senior to upload themselves)
• A photograph taken by an amateur
• Free Dorian photo (taken for their required ID card during Falcon Days or on picture make-up day)o

Class of 2027 Grad Ads

Class of 2027 Grad Ads will be available for purchase November 16 to December 18. Various sizes/pricing will be available. More info to come from the yearbook advisor.

PSAT/NMSQT & SAT TESTING

The PSAT & Fall SAT School Day Testing at Woodinville High School will take place on Tuesday, October 13th. 

PSAT/NMSQT Fall 2026 

All 11th graders are scheduled to take the PSAT at WHS on October 13, no registration required. A $20 fee will be added to their school account and ready to pay by August 19th.

• 11th graders who wish to opt out of the PSAT exam, must have their parent/guardian complete the online PSAT Opt-Out form by September 23 to have the fee removed from their account and be unregistered for the test.

10th graders may optionally register to take the PSAT at WHS through RegiSmart. Registration and payment ($20) must be made through RegiSmart.

Parking Permits

Parking hangars will be available for pre-approved seniors and pre-approved juniors pursuant to the parking applications submitted to Campus Supervisor, Alan Dillman. For further details regarding student parking and applications please visit our Parking Permits webpage found under the Resources tab. A parking hanger is not required to park on campus until Monday, September 14.

Apply for a Parking Permit

Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received. If approved, the parking hanger fee will be added to students' TouchBase account starting mid-August, if  the student’s account is clear of all fines and fees. If the student has fines or fees on their account on August 14th, the bookkeeper will need to be notified once the account is cleared, by sending an email to whsasb@nsd.org or stopping by the cashier’s office. The parking permit fee will then be added to the account and available for purchase.

MEDICAL FORMS AND MEDICATIONS

Our nurses will be available in their office during Falcon Days to receive medical authorization forms and/or medications.  The nursese will be available to answer related questions and are happy to assist you. We recommend downloading and pre-filling the Medical Authorization Form to save time at Falcon Days.

DEVICE RESPONSIBILITIES & PROTECTION PLAN

Students enrolled during the 2025-26 school year kept their device & will use that device for the 2026-27 school year. The logistics of device distribution for new students will be forthcoming, along with a Student Use Agreement that the district will require to be signed by parents/guardians prior to distribution. Students will be expected to bring their district-issued device to school, while school is in session. Prior to the start of the school year, students should make sure they charge their device fully & locate all accessories before school starts so they are ready to go! 

Students are assigned a district device for learning and should leave personal computing devices at home to avoid damage, loss, or issues with accessing district resources.

Families are responsible to take good care of the device, including keeping it safe when not in use, protecting the screen from scratches or cracks, and using the device only for appropriate academic use. A Device Protection Plan may be purchased to cover the device loaned to your student against accidental damage for the school year. This program does NOT cover damage resulting from misuse or loss of the device. Please see the district’s Student Device Use, Damage & Fines webpage for more information.

LOCKER ASSIGNMENTS

Students who fully intend to use a locker may sign up for one on a first-come, first-served basis at Falcon Days or during the first few weeks of school. Due to the limited number of lockers, students must share a locker with at least one, but no more than two, other students and will be allowed to sign up for a locker at Falcon Days if they have a designated locker partner(s) present or with proof of a designated locker partner(s). Once school begins, locker assignments are coordinated through the Attendance Office.

Spirit Gear

The Falcon's Nest (student store) has fantastic new designs for the 2026-27 school year, with styles and price ranges for everyone.  Payment is accepted at Falcon Days by cash, check, debit or credit. The Falcon’s Nest looks forward to gearing students and families up for the school year! Additionally, other Booster groups may have items for sale. A separate form of payment is needed for each Booster Club vendor.

Withdrawing from WHS

If your student is not returning for the 2026-27 school year, please submit the required Pre-Withdraw Form to the Counseling Office Manager Roberta Porter at rporter2@nsd.org.  The Pre-Withdraw form can be found on our website under Counseling > Withdrawal from WHS.
