Falcon Days 2026-27

Falcon Days is an all-in-one-day opportunity to provide communication, as well as an efficient back to school process that helps our students and families have the best possible start to the new school year! 

The 2026-27 school year starts on Tuesday, September 1st for all freshmen and NEW to WHS 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Then, all students attend starting Wednesday, September 2nd. To help our students and families prepare, we invite and highly encourage all students to attend Falcon Days.

Monday, August 24 or Thursday, August 27!

  • Monday, August 24, 8 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., Freshmen*
  • Monday, August 24, 12:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m., Seniors*
  • Thursday, August 27, 8 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., Juniors* 
  • Thursday, August 27, 12:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m., Sophomores*

*Please note the alphabetical arrival schedule by grade and last name alpha in the Arrival Schedule section below.

Please open the panel for your student's grade level to find your assigned time slot.

Students may come to any session on or after their scheduled time.

Check-in for Falcon Days ends at 10:45am for morning sessions and 2:30pm for afternoon sessions. Payment stations close promptly at 11am and 2:45pm, respectively.

What is Falcon Days?

Falcon Days is an all-in-one-day opportunity to provide communication, as well as an efficient back to school process that helps our students and families have the best possible start to the new school year. Attendance at Falcon Days is highly encouraged. If your student is unable to attend on or after their scheduled time, please email whsattendance@nsd.org and include your student’s name. If your student will not be attending WHS in the fall please submit the required Pre-Withdraw Form on our website under Counseling.

At Falcon Days students will have the opportunity to:

  • Obtain preliminary class schedules and other key information.
  • Have their photo taken and receive their free, required student ID card.
  • Pay for ASB memberships, sports participation, PSAT Exam fees, pre-approved student parking hangers, Homecoming Dance tickets, yearbooks, learn about PTSA memberships and more! In-person payments can be made during Falcon Days, but we highly encourage paying online through TouchBase ahead of Falcon Days to save time. 
  • Return items and/or pay outstanding fines.
  • Get involved! Learn about activities and clubs.
  • Pick up or turn in medical forms or medications.
  • Seniors will receive transcript information for review and confirm their legal name for their diploma.
  • Reconnect with friends and classmates!

Volunteers are Needed for Falcon Days!

Please consider volunteering for WHS Falcon Days on August 24 and/or 27! This event is not possible without our amazing volunteers!

There are 2 shifts per day (4 total shifts) available to sign up for with 10 volunteers needed per shift:

Monday, August 24
  • First shift, 7:30 - 11:00 a.m.
  • Second shift, 11:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Thursday, August 27
  • First shift, 7:30 - 11:00 a.m.
  • Second shift, 11:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
