Summer FAQs 2026

1) Upcoming Dates for 2026-27

Thurs, August 20, WHS Library, 9:00 a.m.:

• New to WHS Student Counselors Orientation/Registration
  For students enrolling after June 1. (Not for freshmen rolling up from LMS and TMS.)

Mon, August 24 & Thursday, August 27: 

• Falcon Days, 8:00a-2:45p (Alphabetical arrival schedule throughout the day by last name)

              8/24 (Monday): Freshmen/Seniors             
              8/27(Thursday): Juniors/Sophomores 

• Preliminary class schedules will be available
• School pictures taken and ID/ASB cards distributed
• Activities Fair
• Payment of Fees/Fines/Return of materials
• Parent Volunteers for Falcon Days are needed and welcome! Please sign up!

Monday, September 14:

• Students wishing to park on campus must have a valid WHS parking permit (hanger) in their car by September 14, 2026.

2) Fines, Fees, & Payments (TouchBase & TouchBase Passwords)

• Student account balances and receipts can be viewed, and payments can also be made online 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, through TouchBase (https://wa-northshore.intouchreceipting.com/).
   
• Inquiries about Technology fines for devices, hotspots, cases, chargers, etc. can be submitted to NSD technology through a student Help Desk ticket at go.nsd.org/studenttechhelp.
   
• Inquiries about Technology fine waivers must be submitted to NSD Technology here: https://nsd.jotform.com/213356403373047. Technology fines cannot be waived by the WHS main of cashier's office.
   
• If you are in need of your TouchBase login information July 1 - 31, please email whsasb@nsd.org. Beginning August 1, email whsattendance@nsd.org.
   
• Please note if you have a question about an outstanding textbook(s) on your student's account, a second textbook inventory is completed during July/August.
  *During this process, all textbooks are rescanned.
  *Fine/Fee ledgers are sent before Falcon Days and will reflect any textbooks checked out to students that were not accounted for during the end-of-year check in process with teachers followed by the July/August textbook inventory.
   
• Checks payable to WHS can be mailed to Woodinville High School at 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Bookkeeper
   
• Payments can be made in person during Falcon Days (8/24 & 8/27), then beginning September 1 when the Cashier's Office reopens for the 2026-27 school year.

3) ParentVUE/StudentVUE Login

During the month of July contact whsoffice@nsd.org for ParentVUE/StudentVUE Login information.  From August 1 throughout the school year, contact whsattendance@nsd.org.

Please note: Students who are new to WHS/NSD or newly returning will gain access to StudentVUE 9/1/2026.

5) Grade Questions & Report Cards

Questions regarding 2nd semester grades and/or report card comments must be emailed directly to the teacher.  

• Counselors and registrar are not authorized to change grades or report card comments.

• Please note teachers are on summer break and you may not receive a response until teachers return to work for the 2026-27 school year.

• Upon written confirmation of grade changes and/or report card comment updates submitted directly to Registrar Jenn Diaz (by the teacher) a student's course history can then be updated.

• Students with grading concerns must contact their teacher in September to follow up.

6) Viewing 2nd Semester Grades

Second Semester Report Cards will be uploaded StudentVue/ParentVUE on Wednesday, June 24.
 

• To view Semester 2 grades in StudentVUE/ParentVUE, be sure to change the view under both the Grade Book tab and the Report Card tab to 2nd Semester Final Marks (S2FM).

• The 2nd semester grade seen is the grade posted by the teacher.  

• Please email the teacher directly with any specific grading questions. Adjustments to grades must be confirmed by the teacher. Teachers are not expected to respond until the start of the 2026-27 school year.

• The registrar cannot make grade changes without the teacher's written consent. Counselors are not authorized to make grade changes.

7) Class of 2026 Diploma Packets

Pending official verification graduation requirements have been met, diploma packets will be available for pick up:

WHS Main Office Loop (Drive-thru Pick-up Event) - Thursday, June 25, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. 

Summer hours for pick up after June 25 are Wednesday, July 1 & 8  from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the WHS Main Office. 

• Please make arrangements to pick up the packet as soon as possible, as diplomas are often a piece of documentation needed in the graduate’s near future.

• As diplomas are not reproducible and the packets contain sensitive information, the packet must be picked up and signed for by the graduate or the graduate’s parent/guardian (friends of the graduate are not authorized).
   
• To access graduating seniors’ student immunization records create an account as soon as possible at https://myirmobile.com/ 

• Please note all fines, fees, and/or remaining obligations must be paid or cleared before the diploma and other documentation will be released.

• Fines and fees can be paid online through the parent TouchBase accounts or checks can be made payable to WHS and mailed to: WHS at 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Bookkeeper

• If you are in need of your TouchBase login information July 1 - July 31, please email whsasb@nsd.org. Beginning August 1, email whsattendance@nsd.org.

8) Final Transcripts

See Class of 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 & Alumni transcript information below:

8a) Class of 2026 Final Transcripts

As announced in the spring, the Senior Year-End Activity included senior final transcript requests, as seniors were asked to indicate where they were going to college this fall, if applicable.

Final transcript requests will be sent electronically by July 1, 2026. It is up to the college on the receiving end to download the transcript!

Also note:

• If no college was listed in the Senior Year-End Activity, no final transcript will be sent.
• No additional transcript request is needed if it was indicated in the Senior Year-End Activity where the graduate will be attending college in the fall.

At this time, if any additional final transcripts are needed, a WHS Consent to Release Records form will need to be submitted to whsoffice@nsd.org for the transcript request to be processed.

• Email the Consent to Release Student Records form during the month of July to whsoffice@nsd.org.

Students can email their counselor with a concern, but please note you may not receive a response until after August 24 when counselors return from summer break.

8b) Transcript Requests (Class of 2027) - Unofficial copy now available in StudentVUE

Incoming Class of 2027 seniors who were at WHS in the 2025-26 school year will be able to access unofficial transcripts through StudentVUE. Go to your StudentVUE account and check out the documents tab on the left-hand side. Once you click on documents, you will be able to see a link to your most current “Unofficial Transcript”.

For an official transcript, a Consent to Release Student Records form must be submitted per the instructions on the form.
 

8c) Transcript Requests (Alumni and Classes of 2028, 2029 & 2030)

A Consent to Release Student Records form must be submitted per the instructions on the form.

9) Not Returning to WHS for the 2026-27 school year?

If your student will NOT be returning to WHS in the fall for the 2026-27 school year:

• The parent/guardian must submit the required Pre-Withdraw Form to Counseling Office Manager Roberta Porter at rporter2@nsd.org.  
• The school the student is moving to should submit a records request directly to Ms. Porter, as well.

Withdrawals will be processed upon Ms. Porter's return in August.

The Pre-Withdraw form can also be found on the WHS website under Counseling, Withdraw from WHS.

10) Enrolling at WHS for 2026-27 after June 1, 2026?

Enrollment requests for the 2026-27 school year received after June 1, 2026 will be processed when the WHS Counseling Office re-opens Tuesday, August 4. 

• Please follow the enrollment instructions and submit all documentation as outlined under Our School, Enrollment and scroll to the dropdown New Enrolled Students–WHS Counselors/Orientation/Registration Session to expedite the process in August.

A new to WHS/NSD Student Counselors Orientation/Registration will be held Thursday, August 20, 9:00 a.m. at the WHS Library for summer move-in students to make course selections. 

• This orientation is not for freshmen who moved up from TMS or LMS. 
• All freshmen will participate in Link Crew & Orientation Day on Tuesday, September 1.
• All brand new to WHS 10th, 11th, & 12th Graders will participate in Link Crew & Orientation Day on Tuesday, September 1.

10a) Waiver Questions

• High School students need to enroll/register at their home school - unless they have an approved waiver. Learn more about waivers at the NSD website:  https://www.nsd.org/schools/get-started/waivers.

11) Schedule Change Requests

There will be limited to no schedule changes for the 2026-27 school year. Schedule change process information will be made available late August.

12) New Running Start Students & Enrollment Verification Forms

If you are interested in Running Start for the 2026-27 school year, review the information on the WHS Running Start website.

Be sure to review the WHS Running Start FAQs and review and complete the WHS Running Start Packet.

Complete the 1) college application and 2) placement procedures at the community college of your choice. Please complete those two steps before the posted college deadline. 

During Falcon Days, counselors can sign off on your WHS Running Start packet and meet with you to complete the Enrollment Verification Form (EVF). 

Again, many questions can be answered by reviewing the WHS Running Start FAQs. 

13) Education Verifications

Please fax Education Verification requests to 425-408-7402. The requests must include a signed release.

14) Summer Work Authorization

For students under the age of 18 who are seeking a signature for work authorization, please note the Summer Work Authorization form can be filled out and signed by parents during summer employment (https://www.lni.wa.gov/forms-publications/F700-168-000.pdf).

A counselor or administrative signature is not required on this form as it can be completed by the parent or legal guardian.

16a) Optional Summer Assignments

For the upcoming 2026-27 school year, visit the WHS website, Academics, Summer Assignments 2026 to learn of any optional summer assignments.

16b) Outside Learning Courses

Students wanting to take Outside Learning Courses this summer (e.g., for original credit, such as PE classes, and/or classes for GPA replacement) must have completed the STUDENT REQUEST FOR APPROVAL FOR OUTSIDE LEARNING form and provided it to their counselor for approval PRIOR to enrolling in the outside learning course. Prior approval for outside learning is REQUIRED in advance. 

With counselors now on summer break, forms submitted for Outside Learning Courses will be reviewed and approved after counselors return at the end of August for the 2026-27 school year. Upon approval, Outside Learning Courses for all incoming students could then be taken during the 2026-27 school year or for incoming juniors, sophomores, and freshmen in summer 2027.

17) Athletic Registration 2026-27

The Athletic Office is on summer break and will return Friday, August 14.

• If you are trying to make any Final Forms updates, Athletic Secretary Nicki Kongkarat will be checking email intermittently. 
• If you email Nicki Kongkarat (nkongkarat@nsd.org) regarding a student who is newly enrolled at WHS for 2026-27 that would like to register for a fall sport, please add "NEW STUDENT" in the email subject line.
• If you are trying to send or turn in a sports physical, you can upload it on the last signature page in your FinalForms registration, or scan and email it to Athletic Secretary Nicki Kongkarat at nkongkarat@nsd.org.
• Specific summer sport schedule information can be found on the WHS Athletic webpage by using the "Teams" tab to find the specific sport. If the summer information you are looking for isn't published, please reach out directly to the head coach.
