High School Participation

1. All students participating in a sport at the high school level must purchase a high school $60 ASB card (reduced to $30 for spring season only at WHS). These funds go directly into the school’s ASB account to support the year-to-year cost of the athletic programs. Cost such as: facilities, equipment, uniforms, game transportation cost, etc.

Senior High Fees

1. A $200 fee for each WIAA/KingCo sport.
2. Individuals participating in more than one season will pay a maximum of $400 per school year.
3. Families with two or more students participating at the same high school during the same season will be charged $150 per participant up to a family limit of $600 per year.
4. Families with two or more students participating at both high school and middle school level will have a family limit of $430.
5. Non-WIAA fees (Non-WIAA fees will not be discounted):

• Crew (fall)                                          $758
• Crew (spring)                                     $803
• Water Polo                                         $1,194
• Men’s Lacrosse                                 $804
• Women’s Lacrosse (WHS only)      $988

Middle School Fees

• A $130 fee for each WIAA sport, plus the purchase of a middle school ASB card.
• Individuals participating in more than one season will pay a maximum of $260 per school year.
• Families with two or more students participating at the same middle school during the same season will be charged $100 per participant up to a family limit of $400 per year.
• Families with two or more students participating at both high school and middle school level will have a family limit of $430.

Applicable to all students:

1. This fee does not waive the requirement for participating students to purchase an ASB card.
2. This fee does not guarantee a spot on an athletic team, playing time or a letter award.
3. This fee, due prior to the first interscholastic competition, will be paid at the school.

Financial Hardship

1. Students from low-income families may qualify for a fee waiver.*
2. Students who need assistance should contact their school counselor, grade-level administrator, coach or athletic director for information.

Parents/Guardians qualifying for free and reduced lunch are encouraged to submit the Fee Waiver or Reduction form to Dee Moran at NSD Food Services as soon as possible.

Refund Information

1. If a student is injured, has an illness that ends participation or withdraws from school before the mid-point of a season, a full refund will be granted if requested.
2. If more than 50% of the season is completed, a 50% refund will be granted.
3. Any student who quits a team will not be eligible for a refund.
4. Students who prepay and are cut from a team will be issued a full refund.

Where to pay?

ASB membership and participation fee payments can be paid online at TouchBase or with cash, check (payable to WHS) or credit card at the WHS Cashier's or Main Office.

• Online payments through TouchBase are the preferred method of payment and can conveniently be made 24 hours per day with a credit/debit card.

Fall Sports registration due date: August 14, 2023. (Payments are due by the first competition.)

Football begins August 16, 2023 and all other fall sports begin August 21, 2023 (Cross Country, Crew, Mens Golf, Mens Tennis, Womens Swim/Dive, Womens Soccer, Womens Volleyball, Slowpitch Softball, and Mens Water Polo).

ASB ($60) and sport participation fee payments are payable to the student's high school as follows.

Online payments for WHS will open on August 23, 2023, as follows*:

• $200 - Football, Cross Country, and Slowpitch Softball
  • Payments are accepted online through TouchBase (beginning August 23, 2023).
  • Checks can be mailed to WHS, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072 Attn: Bookkeeper.
  • In-person payments begin on Falcon Days August 28 or 31, 2023, then ongoing starting Wednesday September 6 when the Cashier's Office reopens for the 2023-24 school year with Credit/Debit card, cash or check payable to WHS or NSD.
• $200 - Mens Golf, Womens Swimming/Diving, Womens Soccer, Mens Tennis, and Womens Volleyball
  • After the roster is confirmed by the coach to either WHS Athletic Secretary Renae Hector:
    • Payments are accepted online through TouchBase under "Items At Student's School" from the TouchBase landing page.
    • Checks can be mailed to WHS, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072 Attn: Bookkeeper.
    • In-person payments begin on Falcon Days August 28 or 31, 2023, then ongoing starting Wednesday September 6 when the Cashier's Office reopens for the 2023-24 school year with Credit/Debit card, cash or check payable to WHS or NSD.
• $758 - Crew (Fall) (WHS & NCHS Combined Team)
  • After the roster is confirmed by the coach to either WHS Athletic Secretary Renae Hector and NCHS Athletic Secretary Susan Pearson:
    • Fee for WHS and NCHS Crew student-athletes will be posted to the student's account and will be found under the red unpaid fines/fees link on the student's TouchBase landing page.
      • Payments are accepted online through TouchBase, or
      • Checks can be mailed to WHS, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072 Attn: Bookkeeper, or
      • In-person payments begin on Falcon Days August 28 or 31, 2023, then ongoing starting Wednesday, September 6 when the Cashier's Office reopens for the 2023-24 school year with Credit/Debit card, cash or check payable to WHS or NSD.
  • Crew students must purchase ASB membership from their home high school.
• $1,194 - Mens Water Polo (NSD Combined Team)
  • After the roster is confirmed by the coach to WHS Athletic Secretary Renae Hector: 
    The Water Polo fee will be posted to the student's account and will be found under the red unpaid fines/fees link on the student's TouchBase landing page.
    • Payments are accepted online through TouchBase, or
    • Checks can be mailed to WHS, 19819 136th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072 Attn: Bookkeeper, or

After Falcon Days, payments continue to be accepted online and are again accepted (as outlined above) on the student's first day of school when the Cashier's Office reopens for the 2023-24 school year. (As the office team is diligently focused on preparing the building for the start of the new school year, payments in person are not accepted at WHS between Falcon Days and the first day of school.)

Fall Sports Parent Meeting

The Fall Sports Parent Meeting is Tuesday, August 29 in the WHS Theater at 7:00 p.m.

• The parent meeting for Mens Water Polo takes place at IHS.

 

Winter Sports registration is due Monday, November 6, 2023 for men's and women's basketball and gymnastics which are cut sports. Registration will remain open until Monday, November 20 for men's swim/dive and coed wrestling. 

Winter sports begin Monday, November 13, 2023.

NSD participation fee ($200) and WHS ASB membership fee ($60)* for all winter sports is due by the first competition and are payable as follows:

Payments for winter sports are accepted as follows:

• Mens Swimming/Diving and Wrestling: Beginning November 1, 2023, payment is accepted online through TouchBase and in person at the WHS office with credit/debit card, cash or check payable to WHS or NSD.
• Basketball and Gymnastics: After cuts are made and the roster is confirmed by the coach to Athletic Secretary Renae Hector, payments are accepted online through TouchBase and in person at the WHS office with credit/debit card, cash or check payable to WHS or NSD.
• Unified Bowling (TBD): The ASB and participation fees are not required for Unified Bowling.

Winter Sports Parent Meeting: 

• The Winter Sports Parent Meeting is Tuesday, November 21 in the WHS Theater at 7:00 p.m.

Spring Sports registration due date: February 26, 2023.

Spring sports begin February 26, 2023.

NSD participation fee and WHS ASB membership fee ($30-reduced for spring season ONLY if $60 ASB membership had not been previously purchased earlier in the school year)* is due for all spring sports by the first competition.

Payments for spring sports are accepted as follows:

• Beginning February 1, payment is accepted online and in person at the WHS office with debit/credit card, cash, or check payable to WHS or NSD:
  • $200 - Track and Womens Badminton 
  • $804 - Mens Lacrosse
  • $988 - Womens Lacrosse
  • $TBD Unified Soccer: ASB membership fee and participation fee is NOT due.
     
• After cuts are made and the roster is confirmed by the coach to Athletic Secretary, payments are accepted online or in person at the WHS office with debit/credit card, cash, or check payable to WHS or NSD:
  • $200 - Baseball, Fastpitch Softball, Mens Soccer, Womens Golf, and Womens Tennis

• $803 - Crew (Spring) (WHS & NCHS Combined Team)
  • After the roster is confirmed by the coach to either WHS Athletic Secretary Renae Hector and NCHS Athletic Secretary Susan Pearson:
    • Fee for WHS and NCHS Crew student-athletes will be posted to the student's account and will be found under the red unpaid fines/fees link on the student's TouchBase landing page.
