Athletic Fees 2026-27

High School Participation 

All students participating in a sport (including Competitive Cheer) at the high school level must purchase a high school $70 ASB card (ILHS card is $45). These funds go directly into the school’s ASB account to support the year-to-year cost of the athletic programs. Cost such as: facilities, equipment, uniforms, officials, game transportation cost, etc. 

Middle School Fees 

A $200 fee for each WIAA sport, plus the purchase of a middle school ASB card ($30/TBD). 

Senior High Fees 

WIAA/KingCo sport (including Competitive Cheer) - $300 for each sport

• Crew (fall)  - Contact Crew Boosters or
• Crew (spring) - Contact Crew Boosters or Bothell HS Athletic Dept
• Men’s Water Polo $775 - paid to Woodinville HS
• Men’s Lacrosse - Contact School Lacrosse Club

Applicable to all students: 

1. This fee does not waive the requirement for participating students to purchase an ASB card. 
2. This fee does not guarantee a spot on an athletic team, playing time or a letter award. 
3. This fee, due prior to the first interscholastic competition, will be paid at the school. 

Financial Hardship 

1. Students from low-income families may qualify for a fee waiver.
2. Students who need assistance should contact their school counselor, grade-level administrator, coach or athletic director for information.

Refund Information

1. If a student is injured, has an illness that ends participation or withdraws from school before the mid-point of a season, a full refund will be granted if requested. 
2. If more than 50% of the season is completed, a 50% refund will be granted, if requested.
3. Any student who quits a team will not be eligible for a refund. 
4. Students who prepay and are cut from a team will be issued a full refund. 

Northshore School District no longer has discounts for multiple sibling season participation or a family max.

When to Pay

ASB Membership is available starting August 19th and available throughout the year. We recommend purchasing the membership at the beginning of the school year to maximize benefits (such as free entry to home sporting events) as there is no reduced rate for winter or spring sports.

If the ASB Membership is purchased before the student photo and id is printed, then the card will be automatically validated with ASB. Student's whose ASB membership is purchased after the free student id has been printed will need to have their card validated with a sticker at the cashier's office.

Sport participation fees must be paid before the first competition. Athletes are not eligible to participate in competitions until the participation fee has been paid. Fees are available to pay depending on if the sport has tryouts:

• Non-cut sport participation fees are available to pay online and in-person approximately 2 weeks before the season begins. 
• Cut sport participation fees will be added to student's accounts after the final roster has been confirmed by the coach.

Non-WIAA fees may differ, depending on the sport. Please see the "Senior High Fees" in the section above to determine who to contact and their specific policies. 

How to Pay

ASB membership and participation fee payments can be paid online through the parent's TouchBase account or with cash, check (payable to WHS) or credit card at the WHS Cashier's or Main Office.

• In-person payments can be made at the cashier's window during regular office hours. Students are unable to pay during class time. 
  • Cash
  • Check made payable to WHS or NSD
  • Credit/Debit - all card transactions incur a $2.95 transaction fee. 
    • If paying for multiple student's, in-person fees must be processed separately. 
• Online payments through TouchBase are the preferred method of payment and can conveniently be made 24 hours per day with a credit/debit card.
  • To access your TouchBase account that links to your student, a unique username and password must be acquired by reaching out to your school's office. For Woodinville High School students, please email whsattendance@nsd.org. 
  • All card transactions incur a $2.95 transaction fee
  • Families can add multiple student's fee to cart and checkout with once, avoiding separate transaction fees for each student (in-person payments must be processed separately.)

Touchbase payments

Parents/Guardians who qualify for free and/or reduced priced meals are encouraged to allow their application status to be shared with schools by completing the Fee Waiver during the online Free and Reduced application. If the Fee Waiver was not completed during the application a Fee Waiver should be submitted before making payments.

• Once the Fee Waiver form has been approved, the sport participation fee(s) and ASB membership fee can be purchased for $0 in TouchBase.

• Fees covered by the fee waiver after payment has been made are not refundable.
