Students are automatically assigned an account with their standard district issued username and password.

Setting up a New Student Account
- A staff member will need to log into Rapid Identity http://id.nsd.org and give the student their claim code* Your claim code is given to you by the main office.
- The staff member will need to log into Rapid Identity http://id.nsd.org with their claim code to then set their password. (They will need access to the web through their phone or a computer that has already been logged into because their login will not yet be active)
- Once they have set their password, they should write it down or take a picture of it so they don’t forget it.
- Then log into their chromebook and/or Google Drive account. Login is - studentid@apps.nsd.org Password: the one just created on Rapid Identity.
- Then log into their Clever Account http://my.nsd.org (using their school gmail and new password). There is a Clever icon in the top righthand corner of assigned student devices. It is a blue C. Click on the icon and it will take you directly to Clever.
- Once in Clever they can and should log into Schoology, StudentVue, and Google Drive.
- They should also check their gmail for any email communications they may have missed.
**The staff person can set their password for them and then they can skip to step 3. Once they have logged into everything, they can then change their password using the change password link in Clever. This will change their password for everything.
Need to Know Student Technology
Clever (https://my.nsd.org)– Your username is your student ID # @nsd.org. Use your NSD password. Best practice is to immediately sign into Clever and access everything else through Clever. Clever will remember your NSD login and automatically log you into other school used websites.
- StudentVUE (Grades) – Your username is your student ID. Use your NSD password.
- Google Account - ID is your Student ID # @apps.nsd.org (554433@apps.nsd.org). Use your NSD password.
- Schoology (log into Clever to access) - ID is your Student ID # @apps.nsd.org (554433@apps.nsd.org). Use your NSD password.
Again, you will need to login for the first time and change your password with a staff member through Rapid Identity. If you lose your password and need it reset or need help signing in to any NSD accounts, email the Library dgarcia@nsd.org or hlundberg@nsd.org for assistance.
