Grading Questions

Questions regarding final 1st and/or 2nd semester grades should be emailed directly to the teacher. Our counselors do not have control over semester grades. Please note when teachers are on summer break you may not receive a response until teachers return to work in September.

Viewing Grades

In StudentVue or ParentVUE, change the view to the reporting period you want to see under either the Grade Book tab or the Report Card tab.The current grade seen is the correct grade. Please email the teacher directly with any grading questions.

Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are available under the Documents tab in ParentVUE/StudentVUE for the senior class. To request a transcript for an underclassmen, submit the Consent to Release Student Records form per the instructions outlined at the top of the form.

What is StudentVUE?

To help students get the most out of school, you want day-to-day insight into the academic experience. With the Synergy StudentVUE web portal, students can access near real-time information on attendance, class schedules, report cards, course history, graduation status and more.

StudentVUE allows students to:

View up-to-date attendance information
View up-to-date class schedules
View the school calendar
View term progress and report cards
View modified course history and graduation requirements
Send email to their teacher(s) and other school staff
Check on graduation status
See mid-term/quarter and final/semester grades
Look up school information
See demographic information

Student Password Resets

If a student has lost their password and need it reset or need help signing in to any NSD accounts, email the Library dgarcia@nsd.org or hlundberg@nsd.org for assistance.

How to login for the first time: The first time you log in go to: https://password.nsd.org.
- Your user name is your NSD student ID. Your temporary password is your eight-digit birthday, MMDDYYYY.
- Student Password Change: Create a new password right away so all your school accounts will work. The password you create will be your NSD password.
StudentVUE (Grades) – Your user name is your student ID. Use your NSD password.
Google Account - ID is your Student ID # @apps.nsd.org (554433@apps.nsd.org). Use your NSD password.
Clever (https://my.nsd.org)– Your user name is your student ID # @nsd.org. Use your NSD password.
Schoology (log into Clever to access) - ID is your Student ID # @apps.nsd.org (554433@apps.nsd.org). Use your NSD password.

Again, you will need to login for the first time and change your password at password.nsd.org right away or many of your accounts won't work.

Setting Up an Account

Students are automatically assigned an account with their standard district issued username and password.

New Students! Email the LIBRARY at dgarcia@nsd.org and learn about all the TECHNOLOGY options available to you.
