Marina Orobinskaia

I was born and raised in Russian Siberia, in the region which is closed to Tibet. I began working in medical field when I was 18 years old as a Nursing Assistant in neurosurgery emergency department. Many years of education and growing career later I still enjoy working in health care field. I worked as OB/GYN physician back in Russia. I decided to steer into teaching, once I came to USA in 1999.

I have a unique experience working on all levels of health care on both sides of Pacific Ocean. I share my knowledge of medical field with my students.

I am teaching since 2005 and, besides WHS, worked in Highline Community College and Puget Sound Skills Center. I am a program director at Woodinville High School Medical Professions Academy since 2013.

I am passionate about patients care and want to share my passion with students, igniting inspiration and drive to help others.

I enjoy cross-country skiing, mushrooms hunting, medicinal herbs collection, backpacking, kayaking, and spending time with my family and my granddaughter.
